Get to know the culinary spirit of America's Finest City's with this tour of one of San Diego's most vibrant neighborhoods.

We can arrange pickup anywhere in/around downtown or balboa park. This private tour includes a delicious taco or quesadilla at arguably one of the best "legit" Mexican restaurants in the city, La Vecindad. Owner Antonio brought his culinary expertise (and secret family recipes) over from Mexico City, and his welcoming and friendly spirit is well represented in his beautiful cantina that has become an icon of the Hillcrest neighborhood.

Next we will ride through the gorgeous Balboa Park where you'll get a "taste" of the famous playground with 17 museums and over 70 miles of hiking trails, and home to the world famous San diego Zoo - you can't visit San Diego without seeing a park larger than New York's Central Park.

Did you know San Diego is also the nation's most populous microbrewery hotspot?! To get a taste of this rich tradition, we will stop by Belching Beaver Brewery for a genuine locally inspired brew. You'll get a chance to also snap a pic at the famous Greetings from San Diego mural.

The final stop will be Pappaleco Cafe for a legit Italian espresso (or whatever type of coffee that floats your boat), and a Nutela Croissant, or delicious cup of Gellato. Owners Lorenzo and Francesco brought a little taste of Italy to San Diego, and it's not to be missed.
